TOB 212 Apr/May 2019

Life is really simple,  but we insist on making it complicated.’ – Confucius

The Owner Builder 212 April/May 2019 is on sale nationwide from 30 March 2019.

Paul shares the building of their award winning straw bale home on the NSW South Coast.  ‘Meera’ is a nautilus-inspired superadobe music studio. A lorena rocket stove is proving the perfect sample project for the sharing of natural building techniques. An old wash house has been converted into a tiny house. Building in the remote African bush has its own challenges – and rewards. These are just some of this issues features. See the  Sample Issue Extract  for more details.

Hard copy back issues a thing of the past. The magazine will still be printed in hard copy each issue, and be available in that format through newsagents and to subscribers who are current at posting date. However, there will no longer be any hard copy versions of back issues available. All are still available as digital PDF versions – just remember to provide your email address when ordering.

All hard copy subscriptions now include the digital PDF version as a special bonus. If you are a regular reader and enjoy the content provided, please consider taking out a subscription. Thank you.

  1. Hello. I am trying to download an article entitled Japanese Spirit In The Aussie Bush. It is taken from April/May Owner Builder 2008. I have a copy on my samsung but can’t find anything on the internet and would like it on my iPad so I can see it a bit better. Hoping you can help. Thankyou. Cecilia.

    • Hi Cecilia, I’m afraid the magazine is not available for download unless you are a digital subscriber. Each issue I do release one article as a sample, but that only hangs around for a while.
